Pros and cons of Conquist 2 Lite app for iPhone and iPad
Conquist 2 Lite app good for
First time I play risk game on mobile phone. Very fast and clear game.
Reasonable graphics, but somewhat confusing dice throwing procedure. Also, the map is kinda limited and some territories are named rather strangely.
Just a great game even the free version is solid with computer being fair & showing no mercy to me killing me early! Just like playing with HUMAN!
Great game!!! I lose track of time... Yes I think thats a good thing lol
This is a very good game the non lite version looks a lot better but for 3$ no thank you but overall this is a pretty good game keep up the good work
I love this game, even though it is light. It has good art style and plays just like any normal risk game and has many options for single player
Some bad moments
The rolls seem to be weighed heavily on the CPU side. Losing 5+ to 1 battles constantly. Just annoying
In the expert level all the AI does is pretty much gang up on the human player ignoring the other AI players when common sense would suggest other wise. For example an AI player would rather attack you single colony and face illumination after the attack then attack a newly established continental conquest of another AI player which in the following turn seal the fate of the game. This has occurred repetitively and would not recommend purchasing or playing this game.
idiot game. All about great korean random. Your 10 armies can easily loose to 2. This happed couple of times in multiplayer then i deleted.
Why have a difficulty selection at all? The only thing it changes is how many rolls youre going to lose. It doesnt increase strategy or any other aspects of the game, just how many rolls you will lose. Not fun!
Bots will only attack the player for the most part, so you have to go first or risk having no troops by your turn. Dice roll is completely off of true odds, so you have to attack with better than 4-1 odds or youll lose. Skip it!!!
They really need to look at how Lux Touch and Blood and Honor handles things. Even B & H is too animated with the dice rolls.
In this app, each players turn (i.e., the computer bot) results in a pop-up explaining what the country is doing. Unnecessary.
Then, when the battles start the entire board goes dark and the app zooms in on the two countries battling. Silly!
The other apps show how this should be done-- leave the board fully visible without all this zooming! You are emulating a quiet classic board game!
If you must, give the player an option to do zooming. Also, instantly showing dice rolls makes no sense, either! The attackers dice should go first, then the defenders.
If what other reviewers have posted is true (and why would they misrepresent things?), the AI is bizarre, too!
Oh, well! For those looking for a classic Risk! clone, its Lux Touch for sure! (Blood and Honor offers a great twist with the cards being used for discrete single actions, not amassing, ridiculously, scores of armies.)
